Hi, my name is Paul and I am the founder of Irish Art Print. This you could say, is my mission statement.
The seed for IAP was formed in 2015 from the culmination of my 53 years life experience, and planted in 2016 when Irish Art Print was launched. I am from New Zealand originally and have always wanted to travel and see the world. First port of call was Australia, as it is for so many Kiwis. There with no money, and the threat of having to return home, I fell into the job of selling art, door to door. After I sold my first paintings on a Sunday afternoon in Gosford, NSW, I stated to my then supervisor, Robert, in an off the cuff statement that I loved this , and that I was going to do it for the rest of my life. Never thought for a minute that that would happen, but so it has passed that here I am now in my 54th year and still selling art.
Along the way I have met many interesting and varied people and one of the most influential, was my wife, Ludmila. We have two wonderful children that we love and are very proud of. I met Ludmila in Prague while on an art buying expedition. It was her birthday and she came into the room carrying a yellow rose and I was smitten. We have made our home in Ireland and where we still live. Ireland is a wonderful place, the land of Saints and Scholars, leprechauns, rainbows and pots of gold. It really is a magical place and I highly recommend a visit here sometime. You will be enchanted by the people and the scenery.
Well back to my mission statement. What do I want from Irish Art Print? First of all it show grow organically. It will be nurtured with a select team of web developers, search engine optimisers, fantastic printers, and the best in finance and marketing. And it should be FREE. This will not only be a way for artists to earn some extra income from their art but also a showcase to the world highlighting their unique talents and view of life. With a lot of hard work and a little bit of the luck of the Irish, we will grow into the go to place for ART.
